Well what can I say...... I'm not in a serious band but I'm in 2 bands (if you know what I mean). The first is called Tenacious B which is a tribute to Tenacious D (obviously) and we are 2 vocalists, after I've learned bass well enough I'm goin to start accoustic, then the real fun will start and I'll be able to take Tenacious B seriously with my m8 Tank. The other band is called Magic Zips. This has a Guitarist/vocalist called CJ, me on bass and backing vocals, Emma on drums and some backing vocals and Steph who plays the tambourine.... she is very good at the tambourine. We are currently writing our first album called "Party at Callums and a Barbecue on the Roof". Although that is in it's early stages. We've been writing the "Pirate song" and also our main song which will be called "Stuff goes on fire when sh!t happens, but sh!t doesn't go on fire because sh!t doesn't burn." We expect that "Party at Callums and a Barbecue on the Roof" will be released in November 2010.
I'm quite a fun loving guy and a lot of the time find it really hard to take a lot of thing seriously.

I've got a Westfield B1000 which is very nice C= lol I have a practice amp which is rather gammy because I can't turn it up above number 3, because it saturates =( But I love my bass!
I have named my bass though, everyone should name their instruments. I tend to refer to my bass as a weapon to do great rocking things with, rather than call it an instrument. But the name of my bass is........... THE GRAND POOBAH!!!! |

| I play bass. I've been rocking seriously since about January. I only got my bass at Christmas, but had wanted to play for about 3 years before I actually got it. I only have a grade 2 qualification, which means meager newbie status to people who know. But since I got that qualification I have been getting a lot better thanks to this site where I get all my tabs from.
My main influences are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Tenacious D, Jimi Hendrix, REM, Limp Bizkit, Staind. A hell of a lot more, do you ever get that when you try to remember a lot of things and you just can't do it. Anyway, take a look at my favourite bands to find more.
