'Eylo, I've been playing bass for about a year now. I play professionally ocassionally and am in a band. I am decent for the amount of time I've played, and I practice atleast 7 hours a day, but I'm always looking for ways to improve! I don't slap very well, though :P

hey dude, checked them links, still undecided, i have to wait till i can go and actually get a feel for the instruments, but cheers for the suggestions. Rickenbacker is my dream bass man, any model!!! lol, a rickenbackers a rickenbacker! one mean cookie, even if i could grab a second hand one id be chuffed, i aint got the patience to save for one though, i gig regularly and need a new toy asap, it would be x-mas by the time i could afford one, then id have to buy every buggar pressies, so fekk that!! lol, its too sore on the pocket, but defo when i become full time, :)
hi m8, sounds as if someone up in the sky and beyond just dont want you to play bass, pmsl, poor buggar!! lol, what kinda bass ur teacher got?? anything sweet? lol, ive been thinking of my next purchase, i need something wicked and affordable, £500 is my limit im afraid, looked at a thunderbird, nice to look at but its a guitar that suits best played down at ur ankles rather than your waist, nice deep tone but im decided on NOT going for that kind, lol, ive looked at 'Fernandez' basses too, they really do look sweet, so im gonna try one out in the music shop next time, i want a bass that feels like a bass, you know heavy as hell, so it weighs you down, thats just my kinda bass!, my rbx460 is just rather light, exellent tone , but it feels like im holding a guitar, not a bass, any suggestions are welcome dude, and remember , £500 limit, i think that would be about what??...$700 give or take $50
