The Bass is the grooviest instrument that was ever created! I began plying the bass in 7th grade,but tried my first bass in sixth(i originaly played piano for 2 years).I have been playing for about 3 years yet I am told I am too good for 3 years.I am self taught except for my first few months when a church taught me the notes(in spanish) and on a guitar.Ever since i picked up the bass, I knew it was for me.I once had a jam at a local music store with a friend of mine from Mexico,and I got to say, he is the fastest slapper in the world! We were taking turns soloing while the other played a bassline and it got so long, some employee told us,"Cinco minutos mas(Five more minutes)"and left but watched us untill we left..I am a performing musician in a band called "THE SINGLETONES". I've been in that band for almost a year and we already have a lot of attention.We let out our demo CD 2/3 weeks ago...it is called "DINOSAURS".My specialties are Funk,Slapping,and playing with three fingers.

| I own 2 Basses. My first bass is a Washburn XB100 Bantan Series(black/no pickguard).This bass I have named "Genesis". I named it Genesis because this is the bass I began with. My second bass(My main bass) is a Fender Deluxe P-Bass(mexican/Chrome Red/Gold pickguard/Maple fretboard). This Bass is named "Atticka". I dont know why...it just came to me. I have 2 amps. My main Amp is a Behringer BB410 cab with a Gallien Kreuger Backline 250 head(125 watts/228 watts max). my other amp is a Washburn Bad Dog amp(48 watts).I only own a recently bought Limiter Enhancer pedal ana footswitch for the distortion in my bass head.I also have 1 guitar that my brother gave to me. It's a Samick. |

| I have been playing for about 3 years almost 4. I used to know how to read notes when I played piano for 2 years, but now, I can barely do it. People tell me I am really good for my age but I just say, "I'm not as good as this guy or this guy..." I've palyed quite a few different basses from begginer models to 1,200 dollar basses.Lately i've tried a couple of acustics.MAN I WANT ONE!I am currently experimenting on neckbends, harmonics, harmonic neckbends, and finger-tapping.I am the SLAP king! |

| I am a Funk Fanatic! I just love it. I got into funk by hearing one song and then another and another and noticing how much the bass lines attracted me. I now call myself "The Funkmaster" because I can make any Funk line up whenever. I am also into punk.Another one of my intrests is BATMAN!I love reading the comics.The Dark Night/Caped Crusader is one groovy cat. |
