| Hey I'm Dan I may not be a true pro bassist but I've been playing for about 2 years now and I've learned a lot about this wonderful instrument over those years and am still studying it, even though I know a lot. I have a Fender Precsion (no not a Squier I'm not a beginner thank you) and a Takamine acoustic. I also have a Rickenbacker 4001 1972. It has the nicest tone and I like it even better than my Precision which I LOVE. I play bass in my school's jazz ensemble and I am in a band. We play alternative, rock, and blues music; I am mostly influenced by classic rock like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Rolling Stones, etc. but I do like some new bands also. Some of my bass heroes would have to be: Jaco Pastorius, the man himself...as well as Jack Bruce, John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, John Entwistle, Geddy Lee, Nathan East, Les Claypool, Flea, and many more. Basically I've been getting all my last-minute tabs here at BassMasta since I started playing and I won't go anywhere else to get them!
