About Me:
Bio:
| Born in Columbus, OH (1969)
Moved around alot until 1983 when I finally stayed put until 1987. Joined the US Navy right out of high school in 1987 and ended up going to Iraq for Desert Strom (Gulf War part I).
Afterwards I pretty much lived on my own until around 1998 when I met my wife who lived in Nova Scotia, Canada at the time. Got married in 2002 and ended up getting divorced 3 years later. Loooooooooong story. Don't even ask. :(
Now I'm living on my own again...attempting to put the past few years behind me. In the mean time...working and enjoying picking up the bass again.

Equipment:
Gallien-Krueger Backline 110 amplifier and a Rogue LX200B 4-string. I'm aware it's nothing over the top except for the amplifier, but hey...it plays and I'm not spending wads of cash on something I only horse around with. If I ever find a band then maybe I'll upgrade the bass, but it's doing it's job for the time being.
Musical Skills/Knowledge:
I had about 4 years of piano lessons in the late '70's to early '80's so reading treble & bass clef isn't to difficult. Then came some odd desire to play flute until around 1984. After that I went to soprano trumpet for the local drum corps I was with and into regular trumpet until 1987. Yes...I was a marching band geek, but it was damn fun and I wouldn't change it if I could. I didn't start playing bass until 1986. I was infulenced by John Taylor of Duran Duran and ended up joining a cover band at my high school towards the end of 1986. Since then I've just been messing around with it for fun.
Other Interests:
Cemetery photography, Pittsburgh Steelers (ever since I lived in Pittsburgh during the '70's), Sailing, Leopard Geckos (Gizmo & Lex), ball python (Monty), and my Xbox.
