My name's Mitch. I'm 17 and I play bass, guitar, piano & trumpet. I just picked up bass at the beginning of January, '06 and I've already adapted to the playing style. I picked up bass because my band had a show coming up and we were short a bass player, and I stuck with it ever since. It makes me angry when people say that bass is an easy insturment, because whenever a band just plays rythem bass (roots of chords over and over) they arn't using the bass to it's full ability. Bass came before the guitar, and it's the anchor that holds the music down.
