| About Me: |
| Bio: |
| What's up, everyone? I'm Chris LaBenne. I'm 15 years old, and my friends tell me I'm the best bass player they know. I've been playing for about a year now, and never had a lesson, but picked up on bass very quickly. My father used to play bass for a Beatles tribute band called Abbey Road, and it inspired me to take up bass guitar. I play it non-stop, and I love it every step of the way.

| Equipment: |
| My bass: It's an Ibanez acoustic/electric bass. Nice sound, and very, VERY loud. My bass : loud :: Helen Keller : blind. It's beautiful, too. I also own an Austin Precision-style bass. It's not the greatest bass in the world, which is exactly why I took it apart and painted it gold, lol.

My amplifier: I own a 60-watt Premier bass amp. It's very nice, and very loud. It's only 60 watts, but it's effing loud. It's also got keyboard input jacks, and a PA system jack. Pretty useful overall. |
| Musical Skills/Knowledge: |
| Well, my main instrument is, of course, the bass guitar. I play tons of instruments other than bass, however. I also play acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, drums, and trombone. I play bass and sing lead vocals for my ska band, Richie and the Cunninghams. |
| Other Interests: |
| My life revolves around rock music. My favorite bands are The Aquabats, The Beatles, The Phenomenauts, They Might Be Giants, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, The Who, Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Barenaked Ladies, and, of course, the greatest band in the world...Tenacious D. THe D is by far my favorite band. My favorite songs include "Doctor Worm" by They Might Be Giants, "Sell Out" by Reel Big Fish, "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, "Radio Song" by REM, and just about anything by Tenacious D. |
