im luke, im 15 and play bass.
been playing bass for a few years and am pretty damn good, despite my equipment.
erm, not much to tell, into metal, particularly the older stuff.
im yay high and have a mullet nestin on my head.

i play a crappy crafter and i just baught a wesley for £70 and a stagg electo acoustic bass for £130.
the wesleys a bit clicky but quite refreshing after 2 years with my crafter, and the staggs a thing of real beauty.
i use a nasty nasty laney amp. i am looking at a warwick corvette doublebuck (looking at but pretending not to see the price) and then will find a new amp, probably an ampeg of hartke.
ive got a boss ODB-3 bass overdrive stomp box and a jim dunlop 105Q crybaby bass wah. |
| Musical Skills/Knowledge: |
played bass for a few years now, am good.
can play real fast and usually suceed in being able to play any metal/rock/punk song of my choosing (some songs take longer than others though lol) but am not great at writing stuff as i get bored easily and have the creativity of a fish.
total crap at slap n stuff, but that dont matter when you can rip out a screaming wah soaked bass solo.
main musical inspiration is bass monster cliff burton - he was the best there was and ever will be
play finger bass, none of that picked shit (i lose all my picks..)
taking music gcse this june and have applied to do a course in guitar building and repair and a course in music technolagy, but i hope to get into the first 1. |

They sound awesome, it really does what it set out to do, split personality bass! from a real gently woody sound, to some seriously savage tones... it basically does any tone, spech if you have tone shaping on your amp aswell ;). Hands down best bass i've ever played! When my band gets around to recording some stuff (bout time) you'll hear it, it cuts though really well... |
