| I started playing the Bass in grade 8 (September, 2003) and only played concert style but started to get into playing jazz and swing. I do solo and played in a quintet one night in front of a roughly 350 people audience.During the Summer (2005) I played in a combo once a week and really improved my skills. Currently I'm in a new combo and am one of the better players in a school band. I've continued to grow better at bass playing and my jazz playing has improved greatly since I went to the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festivel in 2006.And now im back in the jazz combo once a week again through the summer while my improvising solos have dramatically shot up.
